Mag-Wind

It is important in this day and age to be able to purchase products that are good for the environment, but at prices that are not exorbitantly more costly than their environmentally-hostile counterparts in the market.

Why, you ask, can’t we just buy what is good for the environment regardless of the cost? Well, economically speaking, that just is not a reality. People will not purchase a more expensive product unless it gives them an equal amount of extra benefits. At least not en masse. This is backed up by our experiences so far with electric cars and solar-powered housing units, they are just too costly.

However, products like the Mag-Wind Vertical Axis Wind Turbine (or VAWT) can actually succeed in the market. In case you have never heard of this product, or you have and still do not understand its purpose, I will explain.

The Mag-Wind VAWT is a modern windmill meant for urban settings. The VAWT can be placed on top of an average home and collect a gratuitous amount of energy. For the versatility and energy output you get from this machine, you would expect that it would be difficult to maintain and be noisy or annoying in other ways.

However, the machine is inaudible due to a magnetic levitation mechanism and is far less susceptible to wear-and-tear for the same reason. If you are looking for a way to be environmentally friendly without inconveniencing yourself—here it is.
